It’s been a busy summer for the TorranceLearning team. We’ve been interviewing and hiring, upgrading our course development process, and cruising along with projects for old and new clients. In the midst of it all, we packed up and said goodbye to our office on Sibley Road that has been our home for the past 2 ½ years, and hello to a new location in the Clocktower Commons, right in the heart of downtown Chelsea.

The old location served us well, but as business has grown and our number of employees has grown (we just welcomed employee number 8!), we’ve outgrown the space. As we looked around at options for new digs, a list of needs and wants started to crystallize: a large enough common room to fit all of us, a conference room, a Zen room for quiet work, decompression, or one-on-one meetings, and space to grow were among the important items. Besides these things, there was also the intangible – the new space had to have the right vibe. We looked at several places, and any of a number of them would have been “good enough.” But one location was absolutely it – our new home.

We’re thrilled to be moved in to the new office. We’ve still got more build out to do, but the place looks and feels great. Michelle & John spiffed up the place with a new paint job, and we’ve got some ideas for how to really put our signature on this space.
