The Ann Arbor YMCA recently released a virtual tour on its home page, created by instructional design and development company TorranceLearning.
The tour, built through TorranceLearning’s eClickMap technology, shows website visitors the YMCA building map, as well as detailed information about the organization and its programs. Each interactive point in the tour is voiced by a different member of the YMCA staff and includes pictures of the facility.
“This tour is a really valuable tool for us, especially in the upcoming months while we are trying to work hard on recruiting and retaining our members,” said YMCA Events & Development Director Gemma Lim.
TorranceLearning eClickMaps enable customers to deliver short multimedia learning pieces on their websites to visually explain complex topics. This gives website visitors instant, visually organized access to information about a physical space, complex product, or visual concept. Clickable points are added to the image for an in-depth view of specific information.
TorranceLearning specializes in creating custom learning solutions for clients with unique or proprietary training needs. The company is based in Chelsea, Michigan and online at www.torrancelearning.com.
